Contrary to English, Chinese names place first names, last, and last names, first. For example, English-speaking people refer to the Chinese basketball star as Ming Yao, but the Chinese call him Yao Ming. This is a rather formal expression. Nǐ jiào shén mē míng zì? By the way, there are also no middle names in Chinese.
Friday, August 31, 2012. This summer, Michael discovered the cast net. Or should I say the JOYS of a cast net. He spent hours along the creek. In his pajama top and shorts. He caught 2 shrimp! I wish I could capture that feeling again.
